Chronic absenteeism has become a growing concern for schools nationwide, especially in the wake of the pandemic. However, a recent symposium organized by WSWHE BOCES highlights the progress being made to address this issue. One inspiring success story comes from Ashley Ball, a local mom from Corinth, who shared with WRGB (Channel 6) how her daughter went from missing nearly 60 days of kindergarten due to COVID-19 exposure to perfect attendance this year, thanks in part to the support of David Torres, the Community Outreach Liaison for the district.
