Hoops for the Holidays

Corinth Central School District is excited to announce the return of its “Hoops for the Holidays” event, bringing together students, families, and community members for a festive afternoon of fun, basketball, and charity! Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 5th, from 3:45 to 5:15 PM, as the school gym transforms into a holiday-themed celebration with activities for everyone.

This year’s event promises plenty of entertainment, with Corinth’s Modified, JV, and Varsity Basketball players shooting free throws to raise funds in support of local families in need. The school community is invited to join in the fun and cheer on their favorite players as they compete for a great cause.

Additionally, attendees can look forward to the return of the “Pie a Staff Member” activity, where CCSD staff members will volunteer to take a pie in the face for charity. It’s a fun, heartwarming way to support the cause, and the staff’s spirited participation adds to the festive atmosphere.

For younger community members, there will be games and activities specially organized for K-6 students. Raffle prizes will also be awarded every 15 minutes throughout the event, giving attendees plenty of chances to win exciting prizes.

All proceeds from “Hoops for the Holidays” will go toward assisting Corinth families in need this holiday season. The event, which embodies the spirit of #CorinthisCommunity, encourages everyone to come together and make a difference in the lives of those around them.
