1,000 Book Club

Exciting news is coming from the Corinth Elementary School Library, where a beloved reading program has made its return! After many years, the 1,000 Book Club is back up and running, encouraging young students to foster a love for reading from an early age.

Thanks to the dedication of Tracy Mack and the support of the Corinth Elementary PTA, the program has been successfully relaunched. With 100 bags containing 10 books each, students in Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) and Kindergarten now have the opportunity to participate in this enriching initiative.

Children enrolled in the program receive a new bag of books each week during library time—with no need for parents to come in for checkouts. The process is designed to be seamless and engaging, allowing young readers to explore new stories regularly.

Students are loving the experience, enjoying both the books themselves and the time spent reading with adults. Families are encouraged to sign up at any time, as it is never too late to join the fun!

A special reward awaits those who complete the program—students who read all 1,000 books will have their names placed on a commemorative plaque in the school hallway, a lasting testament to their dedication and achievement in literacy.

The return of the 1,000 Book Club is a fantastic step forward in promoting a strong reading culture at Corinth Elementary School. If you have a UPK or Kindergarten student, consider signing them up for this wonderful opportunity!
