The evening began with the team lining the inner field to honor their senior teammates. Each senior was called forward, presented with flowers by Coach Torda (provided by our Corinth All-Sports Booster Club). As family members came forward for photos with their seniors, Coach Flint shared heartfelt sentiments about each senior, some of whom have been with the program for many years, others joining the team this year! The senior banners hang on the fence at the entrance to our track as we continue to honor the class of 2026 athletes.
We thank all of our Corinth and Hadley-Luzerne seniors for their dedication to the team and wish you much success in your post-graduation endeavors! Keep on running and staying healthy!

Today was senior day as we hosted Lake George! Stay tuned for photos of our 17 seniors and some actions shots from today's meet!

Corinth Middle School has been busy with Earth Day activities over the last week and a half, supporting our social emotional learning curriculum theme: Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence from The Positivity Project!
Grade 5 participated in a scavenger hunt to learn about the history of Earth Day and created infographics to share what they learned with their peers. They also created a Recycle Bin to promote creative ways to save the planet!
Grade 6 students were our Earth Day Rock Stars! They worked VERY hard beautifying our Oak Street campus. They were busy raking, mulching, cleaning flower beds and memory gardens. We are so proud of their efforts to make CMS look beautiful and show that Riverhawk Pride!!! THANK YOU!
Grade 7 students participated in a community service project with Saratoga County, restocking 400+ brook trout in the Corinth Reservoir! (Read more about this experience on our Facebook page from a Saratoga County post!)
Grade 8 students explored the history of Earth Day, learned about influential environmental activists, and considered ways to address real-world environmental challenges. Students also created nature-inspired writing pieces. On May 14th and 15th, grade 8 will be participating in the Lake George Floating Classroom, learning about the how the environmental factors impact our lakes and streams and how we can protect the water sources, wildlife and other aspects of our ecosystems!
Way to go, Riverhawks!!! Earth Day 2026 was a huge success! (More photos on Facebook!)

"The modified track and field team travelled to Granville on Thursday for their first ever track meet. The athletes had been preparing for this meet for the last three weeks of practice. Athletes competed in running, jumping, and throwing events and experienced what it was like to go against other competitive athletes.
This was the first time that athletes achieved a "PR," or personal record, for their events. The Mountaineers demonstrated some promising talent with a handful of athletes finishing the 800m run in under three minutes and one of our 4 x 100m teams was able to finish their race in under a minute, a significant feat.
Moving forward, the team will look to improve upon their PR's... in future highlights, be on the lookout for individual athletes who have made notable improvements to their PR's... stay tuned!"
Our Modified Track and Field team will have their first home meet this Thursday! Come cheer them on!

"The Class of 2027 students, Parent Group, and advisors are incredibly grateful to the amazing businesses in our community for thinking of our students and supporting this year’s After Prom celebration. Thank you for investing in our students and showing them how much they are valued. Your kindness and community spirit make a lasting impact!"

They also witnessed due process in action as defendants presented their cases, listened to victim impact statements and gained a deeper understanding of the consequences of criminal behavior.
Thank you to Saratoga County Court for providing this valuable learning experience in law and careers for our CHS students!
A shout out to Mrs. Fay for facilitating this field trip as CHS strives to make many career exploration opportunities available to our students!

Our CMS/CHS BRAVE Student Leaders recently visited CES to continue our student empowerment program through role play, modeling and circles, teaching our youngest Riverhawks how to be brave. Trained as part of our partnership with Sweethearts and Heroes, our student leaders are now guided by our school counselors to help them work with our young students to create heathy relationships and strong peer support networks.
Our elementary students are always excited to see the "big kids" from Oak Street visiting their classrooms!

She shared her inspiration, read to our students, and even introduced them to Lucky, the real-life “fur baby” star of her books!
Thank you to Ms. Macy for bringing reading to life and to our CES Shared Decision-Making Team for organizing this special experience.
