Corinth Elementary School is excited to announce its Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for the 2025-2026 school year, offered at no cost to families residing within the Corinth School District. Designed to prepare children for Kindergarten, the program provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment led by New York State-certified teachers.
Program Highlights:
Full-Day Schedule: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Transportation: Families are responsible for providing transportation.
Meals: Available through the school cafeteria.
Activities: Students participate in physical education, music, art, and library classes.
Calendar: Follows the district's 180-day school year, Monday through Friday.
Children who turn four years old on or before December 1, 2025, and are legal residents of the Corinth School District are eligible to apply. A total of 54 placements are anticipated for the upcoming school year, with a lottery system determining enrollment if applications exceed available spots.
Key Dates and Application Information:
Applications will be available starting Monday, January 27, 2025, from the registrar at the Oak Street campus.
Completed applications are due by Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 3:15 PM.
Families will be notified of their child’s status by March 13, 2025.
Late submissions will be considered only if spots remain open or will be added to a waitlist if the program reaches capacity.
