On Friday, January 16th the Elementary Student Council is hosting a “Rockstar/Favorite Singer Day.” Donations of $1.00 will be collected at tables in the hallway on this day and a donation will be given to CAPTAIN Community Human Services. They have “over thirty programs and services to protect and nurture children and youth, strengthen families, connect seniors, resolve crises, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, support the emotionally challenged, and empower all of our community members to build a brighter future for themselves and their neighbors.” Please check out how they might be able to help you/family member in need. If you are able to, please send in your donation of $1.00. Thank you!

We are closely monitoring the weather for tomorrow’s annual Halloween Parade. A final decision about whether the parade will take place outdoors will be made tomorrow morning.
If we’re unable to hold the parade outside, students will still enjoy plenty of Halloween fun inside the school. Please note that in this case, families will not be able to attend.
