The New York State Maple Producers Association, a non profit organization, provides educational and enrichment activities for students through a mobile classroom that engages students and teachers in the steps of maple dedication, its history, and importance in NYS agriculture.
A big shout out to 7th grade teachers, Mrs. Butler and Mr. Waring, for collaborating on this incredible interdisciplinary project that was provided by NYS at no cost to the school this week.

This program fit perfectly with our new Agriculture Club (being piloted this year). We recently tapped trees outside of our middle school and will boil into maple syrup in the next few weeks!
