We are proud to share information for Corinth Schools Holiday Assistance: Working with our own “Hoops for the Holidays” and our community to connect families with resources!
Our school district is fortunate to be part of a generous community. Several local organizations collaborate with us to help make Christmas morning joyful for our students. Thanks to the support of our staff and community partners, we are able to assist some of our students in fulfilling their holiday wish lists. Below is important information about eligibility and how to complete a wish list for each participating child.
Holiday Help Guidelines:
Because many families seek support, we kindly ask that families who have received assistance from our program for two or more years consider reaching out to other organizations for holiday help this year.
â—Ź You may only apply for holiday assistance for children in your family for whom you have legal custody.
â—Ź Participation in this program is limited to families not receiving holiday assistance from any other agency. If your family is connected with another agency, please contact them first.
● Please prioritize your child’s wish list. Keep in mind that it is difficult for us to provide items that are not age-appropriate or extremely expensive.
â—Ź This program cannot guarantee that all requested items on a wish list will be fulfilled.
● If clothing or shoes are requested, please include the child’s sizes. If a particular style or brand is desired, please note that as well.
Wish lists must be returned to the Counseling Office by: November 1, 2025.
Due to time and budget constraints, requests received after this date cannot be accepted. This deadline will be strictly enforced. Please provide an email address in the registration form. We will use it to confirm your enrollment in this program.
Please see the images below for the registration form and the announcement for our annual Hoops for the Holidays event on December 3rd which helps to make this all possible!
Please reach out to Mrs. Chandice Bills with any questions (contact info in the flyers)!

Thank you for your dedication to the team and the sport of golf, serving as leaders in our athletic program. The scoring opened with a beautiful assist from Arabella Nichols to Lila, Bentley-Ghalib who drove the goal home. The second tally came when Lila again set up Callie Rigley for another score.
The team played strong on defense with Sam Phillips stepping up in her best game of the season. Olivia Bills also stood out with her excellent play, consistently bringing the ball down the field and creating opportunities at the cage. Sydney Mosher and Alex Crombach left Hoosick Falls scoreless in goal.
Great job, Riverhawks—keep working hard and building on this momentum!"

"After an almost 2 hour long bus ride, the Riverhawks took the field against Berlin-New Lebanon. Quickly into the first half, the Riverhawks shook off the bus ride, corrected errors, and got to work. Their intensity and work ethic earned them the 4-0 win in the end.
This team continues to make strides in their passing capability, teamwork, and ability to shoot the ball. It was a fun game to watch. On an exciting note, all goals today came from our youngest players on the team, our 8th graders. Congratulations on a hat trick to Alexis Craig, and another goal for Natalie Baker. Assists to Lexi’s goals came from Chloe Hall, and Hailey Shannon. Natalie’s goal was assisted by Claire Sitcer.
Again, huge kudos to our defensive line for locking it down and not being afraid to carry the ball up field. Midfielders put the work in to maintain possession and keeper, Alexis Hall, had another shutout!
Our next game is on the road again in Gloversville on Monday night under the lights!"
There was also a family rivalry on the field! Corinth, Coached by Megan Morris, faced off against B-NL, coached by her brother! They shook hands after the game and snapped a quick family photo!
Congratulations to our Riverhawks and a special congrats to Alexis for for her hat trick!! #RiverhawkProud #RiverhawksRising

Our Varsity Girls Soccer team notched another "W" on Thursday evening! Coach Morris shared game highlights:
"A huge congratulations to the varsity girls soccer team for their win Thursday on the road in Salem!
Our defensive line remained extremely strong throughout the game; allowing for very few shots on net. Keeper, Alexis Hall, had her first shut out of the season. With concrete passing, intensity and quick shots on net, the Riverhawks were able to walk away victorious with a 7-0 win. Goals came from Alexis Craig, Lylah Dishon, Piper Houser, Natalie Baker, and Heather Pita. Congrats to Natalie and Piper for their first varsity goals!
Our outside and center midfielders were paramount in our success. I want to commend this team for truly understanding the concept of teamwork, and never giving up. Keep persevering, Riverhawks!"
Congratulations, athletes! Keep up the great work! #RiverhawkProud #RiverhawksRising

Students had the opportunities to play games in the gym, board games, color or create with play-doh, dance and we even had a gaming room this year!
Thank you to our awesome student DJs, Hailey Cutright and Claire Sitcer, who helped the students dance the night away!
Thank you to all of the staff members who volunteered their Friday evening to make this event possible! All proceeds benefit our PBIS program!
