One week from today (Thursday, January 15th) Corinth High School will be hosting a Financial Aid Completion Night to support families as they complete the FAFSA and NYS TAP.
Date: Thursday, January 15th
Time: 4:00–6:00 PM
Location: Corinth High School Library
This event is designed to provide hands-on assistance and answer questions in real time.
We strongly encourage students to attend with at least one parent or guardian, as the process is much smoother when both are present.
Please review the following tips ahead of time to make the most of the session:
FSA ID Required:
Each student and parent/guardian must have their own FSA ID to log in and complete the FAFSA.
Creating your FSA ID before the event is highly recommended.
An FSA ID instruction sheet is attached.
Tax Information:
Please bring your 2024 tax returns.
NYS TAP (for students applying to NYS colleges):
Students who are applying to New York State colleges (or may apply)should be prepared to complete the NYS TAP application as well.
Students and parents should bring their NYS driver’s license, permit, or ID to complete TAP during the event.

It was a big night in the Corinth High School gym on January 7!
Senior Keegan Baker earned his 100th career win in front of a packed gymnasium, where the crowd rose to its feet in a well deserved standing ovation to celebrate this incredible achievement.
Keegan has been a passionate wrestler since he was a young boy, dedicating himself to the sport year-round. He now proudly joins his father and CHS alumnus, Nate Baker, along with many of his coaches whose names are displayed on the gym’s “Quarter Century” banner, honoring athletes who have reached this milestone.
Keegan also joins his teammate, senior Aiden Schurr, who reached 100 career wins earlier this season. The 2025–26 season is already one to remember, and we are not done yet!
CHS also celebrated our seniors, a team victory over the #5 ranked team in the state and so much more last night. Stay tuned for more photos and highlights from an unforgettable home wrestling match!

"Our JV Girls Basketball team won this weekend 34-27 against South Glens Falls! We were led by Liv Crooks and Alexis Baker, who each scored 10 points, followed by Natalie Baker who was a star of the game on offense scoring 8 points.
It was a hard fought game after a long break. However, the Riverhawks worked together and came through with the victory! Our next game is today against Warrensburg. Way to go Riverhawks!"

"Congrats to the boys modified basketball team on a hard fought win by three points over Fort Ann.
Blake Curry lead the team on a strong second half charge and scored 22 points in which 10 came in the 4th quarter alone. Jaxson Osborne, Nate Cauffiel, and Nick Preece-Clothier all played great defense to help seal the deal. The entire team played valuable minutes to help get a nice win on the road."

Hunter LaBrake, Brycen Schurr, and Elder Castillo-Ramirez all fought tough matches and came home with first place brackets! Tristan Lozier brought home second place and Matthew Ryan third place. Harper Houser wrestled quality, six minute matches. He and the entire team have been putting in a lot of effort and continue to improve. Congratulations wrestlers!
Journeymen's Tournament in Halfmoon:
Yesterday, our team closed out a very busy holiday recess. We sent 9 of our wrestlers to the Journeymen’s Armbar Round-Robin in Halfmoon.
A huge congratulations to Carsen Schurr, Blake Cronk, Aiden Schurr, Keegan Baker, and Camdyn Moors who all took home first place! Ashton Moors fought to pick up forth place in a classic-style bracket. All wrestlers wrestled well, leaving it all on the mat. Way to work!!"

"On Saturday, the girls varsity basketball team beat South Glens Falls 36-35 after Bella Craig sank a 3 pointer down 2 with 1 second left in the game!
It was another fantastic team effort on both ends of the court. The game winning sequence was set up by a huge steal from Heather Pita on the other end of the court with 14 seconds remaining. Heather led the team with 11 points. Kenadee Flint and Bella each had 8 points in the game. The defense stepped up when needed, and made big stops in the final minute of the game. Another great team win!"

Coach Falkenbury shared highlights from the tournament:
"The Boys Varsity Basketball team had a great two days hosting the Corinth Riverhawk Holiday tournament.
On Monday night, the Hawks beat Fort Edward 85 to 27. They outscored the Flying Forts 30 to 0 in the first quarter. Michael Petteys and Trent Allen set the tone for the defense with their energy that led to many steals. The lead surged to 50 to 9 at the half. The scoring was balanced for the Hawks. Kaden Wright led the team with 25 points and 12 rebounds, Braydin Stone had 17 points 10 assists and Will Murray added 12 points 9 rebounds. Trent Allen and Ashton Wright each had 8 points.
On Tuesday night, the Riverhawks faced off against Taconic Hills in a rematch of last year's tourney final. The Riverhawks continued with their tenacious defense and led 39 to 20 at halftime. They came out and put 27 points on the board in the third quarter to make the lead 66 to 40. In the third quarter, Braydin Stone and Kaden Wright scored 23 of the 27 points for the Hawks. The highlight of the night was a spectacular pass from Stone to Wright that led to an alley-oop dunk that ignited the crowd. Kaden Wright led the Riverhawks with 29 points 11 rebounds,. Braydin Stone added 14 points 10 assists. Ashton Wright played a solid game scoring 11 points and Trent Allen added 9.
Braydin Stone and Michael Petteys were named to the All -Tournament Team and Kaden Wright was named MVP of the tourney. With the win the team improves to 6 and 2 overall."

They came out and put 27 points on the board in the third quarter to make the lead 66 to 40. In the third quarter, Braydin Stone and Kaden Wright scored 23 of the 27 points for the Hawks. The highlight of the night was a spectacular pass from Stone to Wright that led to an alley-oop dunk that ignited the crowd. Kaden Wright led the Riverhawks with 29 points 11 rebounds,. Braydin Stone added 14 points 10 assists. Ashton Wright played a solid game scoring 11 points and Trent Allen added 9.
Braydin Stone and Michael Petteys were named to the All -Tournament Team and Kaden Wright was named MVP of the tourney. With the win the team improves to 6 and 2 overall."
