CHS hosted Queensbury for our final Unified Basketball game on Tuesday with tip off during the school day. The gym was packed with fans cheering with signs, posters and more! The energy was infectious! Congratulations to all on a great day! (More photos on Facebook!)

The CES Shared Decision Committee has been focusing on encouraging a love for reading this year. A poster contest was sponsored as one of their events. Congratulations to the following winners: 1st: Iris Rogers, 2nd: Ada Northup, 3rd: Waylon Semzock

A large group of seniors headed to Ocean City, Maryland yesterday, to celebrate their final days as CHS students, making wonderful memories with their classmates! We wish you all a wonderful and safe trip! #Classof2024 #Graduationmemories

Grade 4 students went on a field trip t to the Spa Little Theatre as part of SPAC’s Classical Kids program. They enjoyed performing and learning about dance with local artists, Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company.
Our students were invited to a New York City Ballet performance at SPAC on July 12! Tickets for students and an accompanying adult are free. We are so thankful for this community partnership that enhances our students' education!

We have some exciting news to share!
The NY Council of Administrators of Special Education has selected Mrs. Jill Cheney-Bovee as the 2024 Special Education Administrator of the Year!!!
Please see the award letter acknowledging all of Mrs. Bovee's accomplishments that distinguished her from other nominees and resulted in earning this prestigious title.
Thank you, Mrs. Bovee, for all that you do for our students, staff and families in our school community! Congratulations on this well-deserved award!!

We have some talented artists in grade 7! Inspired by an artist from the Côte d'Ivoire and the novel, A Long Walk to Water, from their ELA class, our students painted African villages. A shout out to Mr. Waring and Mrs. Bardin for collaborating on this multi-cultural lesson that allowed our students to share their creativity in a meaningful way while exploring other countries. Some of the masterpieces were displayed in our CMS lobby!

We are proud to announce that senior, Megan Watkins was selected as the CHS recipient of the Adirondack Area School Boards Assoc. Community Service Award! Thank you to the area businesses who make the $400 award for all honorees possible!

Congratulations to our Corinth Middle School Quarter 3 award winners for The Positivity Project! These students were selected by grade level teams for demonstrating one of the character strengths that we study throughout the year!
We are so proud of our students for making a positive impact on our school climate and culture! They model what we learn in our social emotional learning curriculum everyday!!

Congratulations to our Modified Girls Softball team for their UNDEFEATED SEASON! Coach Roberts shared:
"Modified Riverhawks just finished the season undefeated!!!! Great game against Whitehall ending the game 21-5.
It has been such a pleasure to coach these girls. They did a fantastic job this season. A huge thank you to all of the parents who shared their nights with us, supporting our team, and to Mrs. Fish for helping us out on first base."

Our Unified Basketball Team had a big day on the court yesterday! Here are highlights from Coach Haskell:
"Our Unified basketball team played a nail biter Vs. Hadley Luzerne last night in Corinth. Both teams finished the game tied at 28.
Jason the Baller Bellinger led our team with 12 points. Isaac "Da Pickle" Harwood was next on the board with 6 points. The team got one basket from Nate the Great Winslow, Tallulah Lu LU LaBrake and Alison the Tankl Toth.
The team played another game at home today, honoring our seniors and playing in front of the student body! Highlights from today's match up with Queensbury to come...

Our Modified Softball Team is UNDEFEATED in the league and is playing their last game at home today (time change to 5:15)! We hope that you will consider coming to cheer them on to keep their undefeated record. They put two wins in the book recently. Here are highlights from Coach Roberts:
FROM SATURDAY'S GAME:
Modified ladies brought in another win Saturday against Granville with the score 24-8. Liz Miele hit a home run and a triple! Samantha Phillips hit a double! Every girl made contact with the ball sending our runners around the bases. The girls formed beautiful cut offs and coverage on the bases.

MONDAY'S GAME:
Modified girls won against Lake George ending the game 17- 9. Jennifer Ives had 3 doubles, Sam Winslow hit a triple and a double! Sawyer Anderson hit a home run!! Olivia Diamond and Liz Miele hit doubles! Outfielders (Morgan F., Mia B and Bailey D.) did fantastic backing up bases. Kirana Ellis and Sam Phillips hit RBI’s. Annabell did great with catching the whole game. Amazing game! One more game today to end the season!
